Miracle League Updates
Registration for the 2021 Miracle League of Southlake Spring Season is Now Open!
To all our players, families, volunteers, and friends,
We hope that all of you are staying safe, healthy, and WARM! The last twelve months have proven how strong and determined our nation can be, through this ongoing pandemic.
Hopefully, we are turning the corner and beginning to see some improvement in getting back to some form of normal in our lives.
At this time, we are unsure as to what a “season” will consist of, but we wanted to see how many of you are ready to get back on the field and play some baseball so please log into your account and register your players as soon as possible.
As in any type of gathering, there will be COVID 19 protocols in place to ensure the safety and health of the players and new ways we do some things, but it will be worth it to see the players back on the field enjoying the game of baseball.
The basic COVID 19 precautionary measures that will be in place this spring, include;
Standard COVID 19 questionnaires
Temperature evaluation with no-touch thermometers
Hand sanitizing stations
Social distancing (to include no hugging, high-fives, or post-game handshakes)
Using a family member as a buddy.
Dugouts not used.
If a player or coach tests positive for COVID 19, they may not participate in any Miracle League activity until the following CDC guidelines are achieved.
14 days since the symptoms first appeared AND
24 hours with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medication AND
Other symptoms of COVID 19 are improving.
Please pay close attention to the COVID registration portion that covers the types of possible options you have (games, batting clinics, field days, etc.). Your answers to these questions will help determine the activities the Miracle League will offer this spring.
Having missed an entire year, we are hoping to resume the fun and friendship for which our league is noted.
See you at the ballpark!
